What is an Empty Leg flight?

Empty leg flights, sometimes referred to as one-way charters, deadheads, or repositioning flights, occur when a private jet is chartered on a one-way flight and therefore, doesn’t have any passengers on it’s return trip to it’s initial location. As a result, travelers can take advantage of these empty flights by flying to a pre-determined destination that aligns with their plans, meanwhile saving significantly on costs and enjoying the same luxury of a traditional private jet charter.
