NBAA Honors SAJ with Private Flight Safety Award

(Los Angeles, CA – July 3, 2019) – Private flight and management company Sun Air Jets was honored for 16 years of accident-free flying by the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA). This is a result of over 33,343 hours of safe flying conducted by the operator’s dedicated flight crews. Since the company first obtained its 135 Air Carrier Certificate in 2003, Sun Air continues to be one of the safest private jet operators in the industry.

This award is presented to eligible NBAA members who demonstrate all flights under their operational control were flown accident free. The 12-month period used for determining each additional accident free year ends on December 31. Requirements include that both flight crews and maintenance technicians employed by the company are not involved in any accident as determined by the NTSB and FAA.

Private flight and aircraft management operator Sun Air Jets is one of the only private jet operators in the world to concurrently hold all four of the highest safety rating audit standards, including Wyvern Wingman, Argus Platinum, IS-BAO, and the Air Charter Safety Foundation.
