Sun Air Jets has completed another large maintenance inspection, this time on the aircraft fleet‘s Bombardier Challenger 601.

This maintenance event included a detailed inspection that involves a complete removal and disassembly of the landing gear components as well as the entire interior including the cabinetry, galley, lavatory, and floor boards. This level of disassembly enables the crews to perform a thorough airframe corrosion inspection.

300 / 600-hour airframe and engine inspections were also completed that include extensive functional and operational checks of every aircraft system.

Besides having technicians who are proficient on maintaining the Challenger 601 airframe, the maintenance department also provides Flight Safety International aircraft manufacturer trained technicians on Gulfstream, Hawker, Dassault Falcon, Cessna and other Bombardier airframes, as well as Honeywell, Rolls-Royce and Pratt & Whitney engines.

Additionally, the maintenance department is fully immersed in the Sun Air Jets’ safety management system. The team has achieved all four major industry safety standards.

Sun Air Jets’ managed clients benefit greatly by having exclusive access to Sun Air Jets’ in-house maintenance department. The maintenance can perform large-scale, in-depth inspections and care for the owners’ multi-million dollar assets in the most cost-effective and convenient manner.
